I'm really passionate abt fantasy movie direction.My parents want me to prep for IFoS as de feel dat direction would only lead me to struggle and IFoS would bring me job security.I strongly feel dat de r ryt so I've decided to go for IFoS.But is there any way I can pursue direction as a side career?

The Indian Forest Service is one of the three All India Services of the Government of India. It is one of the best career option one can have in India. It gives you full job security and lot of perks.
See, i understand that your passion is in direction but as your parents said that before pursuing any passion, its better to have a backup option in case if you fail. Forget about your passion as of now and prepare honestly for IFoS and then after clearing the exam and joining the services you will have lot of time to explore your passion.
