According to your question and taking into consideration that you want to take an attempt for jee mains while you are already in college.
I don't think that coaching institute would give you some perks of giving the college exams but still you can talk to the coaching institute whichever you are joining. If they don't cover up your exams then do self study and crack mains next year. Self study is much beneficial and crucial.
