I'm sudhansh Anand I'm from SC catagory and I have secure 872 rank in jee advance.where should I preferre engg and which branch???

Firstly congratulations for having this much good rank in jee advance. Now your concern is that which college and branch you should select.
Well if talking about branch then you should first go with CSE. But it would not be better if you select branch by the influence of people and on going with what they says.
More beneficial and crucial decision would be that you should first see in yourself that where your passion is.
You also will have to take it your mind that "moving with mob decrease the value of probability of getting success".
So try to bring that branch where you feel that you are passionate about it and could continue your study with a zeal so that nobody can defeat you in course of touching the peak of hill.
If question is about which college you should select so firstly I will recommend you to check where you lie , that is you should first notedown that in which college cutoff your rank lies for your desired branch?
Then note down all these colleges on a paper .

First of all congratulations for securing a remarkable rank in JEE ADVANCED. You may definitely get admission into some of the IITs but may not get your desired rank. But still you can give it a try at the time of counseling since you're a SC candidate and it's better to apply for colleges in your own home state so that the chances of getting admission are high. Well going to branch, computer science engineering is one of the best engineering branches offered by almost all colleges but you can also opt for other branches.
