I'm thinking to do upsc?I am in class 12th currently

It's good that you want to write upsc and become an officer like Ias or ips etc. If you want to write upsc then first of all after your 12th you need to do graduation as you need to be a graduate in any subject from a recognized university to write UPSC.
UPSC has 3 stages dear which are :-
Clearing upsc is not that easy but yes with right attitude and approach you can clear it. You can start your preparation for UPSC while pursuing your graduation as well . You need to go through the syllabus of UPSC well and once you complete the whole syllabus you should go for mock tests, you can make a routine and try to religiously follow it and if you remain dedicated towards achieving your goal, you will be able to fulfil your dream of qualifying upsc and becoming an officer.

- The first stage of the exam is Preliminary examination (objective )
- The second stage, Mains (written).
- Third stage i.e Interview/personality test , If you manage to clear both prelims and mains then you are to go through Interview/personality test

As you have mentioned that currently you are studying in class 12th Commerce.That's a good idea to do UPSC,but i would suggest you to first focus on your boards.Because you still have many years to prepare for UPSC after your 12th,so prepare for your 12th well.After completing your 12th you should have to do B.A program,which covers almost half of the syllabus of UPSC like History,Polity,Geography.In between your graduation years you can prepare for UPSC,because it needs 3 years of graduation and 21 years of minimum age,so you are eligible only if you have fulfilled these criteria.
