In 12th I have entered my caste as General by mistake but I belong to ST, so can I apply for NEET as ST candidate if I have a valid caste certificate? Please reply to my question as soon as possible because the NEET 2022 registration may start soon.
Hello Aspirant,
Yes definitely you can apply as ST candidate for NEET UG 2022, it does not matter with whatever category you are enrolled in class 12th. But note that you should have proper caste validation documents.
As of now there is no any information released by NTA regarding NEET 2022 because till now NEET 2021 is even not completed and it is in process as the counselling is to be conducted. So at this moment it would be too early to say any exact date about NEET 2022 but to give you an idea, if everything goes normally then we can expect NEET 2022 application to get started from the month of January/February 2022 but nothing is announced officially yet.
