In 2016 cut off for civil in Ramaiah was 4706 but but in 2017 it was 15000 why so?

As there would have been more no. Of admission in entrance exms
Due to increasing population and competetion ,they have done so.
Deserving students also lacks admissions
For creating more awareness of civil engineering n giving chnce to the deserving
