If you want to join in CSE, it's really good. And it's good only if you love coding skills. The successful engineer comes where he is willing to learn anything from their juniors and also from seniors irrespective of their ages. If you have good presentation skills you will definitely become best engineer. Team work makes your life so easy so try to learn that in the engineering itself.
Self confidence and self motivation are the two weapons you need to survive this life.

I think you want to know about the best engg. branch to join. If your interest lies in the computer science engg. then it is a good option to have this branch has the highest possibility in the placements section if you are focussing on the career.
If you study well in this branch and focus on related topics like Coding using C++,JAva,python and Software development,Operating System,System Design,DBMS etc. Then you would achieve best heights in your career.
