Dear aspirant,
As of now all the entrance exam has been taking the EWS certificate scanned image during the filling of application form and they will also ask for your certificate during the verification of documents during the counselling.
Only during jee mains in 2020 we were not asked during the filling of application form but from the current year 2021 all the jee candidates are required to upload the EWS certificate during the filling of application form.
So,it's better to be on safer side.
