In Jee counseling if I get some branch in round 1 counselling n choose the option of Slide or floater for round 2 counseling for better branch than that branch which I got in round 1 will be safe or loose .pl suggest?
If you chose the option float then If a candidate wishes to keep the allotted seat and also want to upgrade their seat, they can choose this option.
And of they like to slide then it means that the candidates wish to accept the allotted seat and want to upgrade the programme in the same institute. By choosing slide you won't be able to counsel for the other colleges but can only choose newer courses inside the college you got in the previous round. in either of the cases you have got your seats in this round fixed and you won't lose them.
Hope this helps
Hello aspirant
In bed counselling , if you get one branch and you want to go for next option for better branch you will not be able to get that first option again. If you fix the first option then you won't be allowed to go for next option and that first option will be fixed for you.
Dear aspirant
First of all I am explaining you in short the rule of choice filling.During choice filling you can put any no of choices there and sort them according to your facvourable interest . In every round you will be allotted only one department of one college . According to your sorted choice list the top most available choice with vacant seats will be given to you . If you are happy with that then you lock that and get admission . Otherwise you upgrade( slide or float) If any of the preceding choice's seat becomes vacant then you will get than otherwise you get the allotted seat given to you from the previous round. But under any circumstances you can't get the receding choices after you are allotted a particular option. That's how it works. So choice filling and seat allotment is very vital.
So if you don't get anything new college or department in round 2 then you will get the seat of round 1.
Best Wishes.
