Criteria for getting EWS Certificate-
- You should belong to general category.
- Family income should be less than 8 lakhs per annum.
- Family's agricultural land area should be less than 5 acres.
- Family's residential flat area should be less than 1000 sqft.
- Family's residential plot area should be less than 100 sq. Yards (Notified mumicipalities).
- Family's residential plot area should be less than 200 sq. Yards (Other than notified mumicipalities).
If you fulfil all these criteria, then you can apply for EWS certificate. Some documents are needed such as Aadhhaar card, bank passbook, property certificate, income certificate, passport size photographs etc. Under Economically Weaker Section, general category will get a reservation of 10% in central or state govt. Jobs and education.
