There are 2 types of admission for Management Quota seats. The B Category seats are filled through State Counselling and the remaining seats are filled through direct Admissions by contacting the College directly provided the Candidate has registered for the respective State Counselling and has not been able to secure a seat in the Counselling. Now for State Counselling type of admission for Management Quota seats, admission is based on merit and preference based on Constitutional reservations. Based on the State in question, atleast 50% of the seats of Private Medical Colleges are filled through this Category following the reservations like General Category, OBC,SC,ST, EWS, etc. And the Candidates who belong to another State can only apply under General Category. For example, if you belong to Telangana and are appearing for Telangana State Counselling for Management Quota seats, you will be eligible for OBC reservation. But if you are applying for Management Quota seats of Karnataka, then your reservation will not come into picture. You will be considered only under General Category.
