in pgcet,i have got rank as 354(mca lateral) and i have claimed 1G category. but i am alloted college with GM(General merit).What does it mean?

Hello aspirant,
I am really sorry to inform you that, 90% of seats are allotted to citizens of Karnataka and only rest of 10% seats are allotted to candidates of other state. So I assume that is the reason of not providing you a seat even through you are a merit student.
