In previous year cutoff of some nit someone who belongs to obc category get college in 2 lakh rank is it crl rank or category rank

Hey Addi,
If someone got admission in NIT at 2 lakh rank, then it must be his General rank. However, he must have some category, as you mentioned OBC. I am telling this because 2 lakh OBC category rank means almost 6-7 lakh general category rank which means that the aspirant did not even qualified JEE Mains exam. So, obviously it is the general rank of a student having category.
