It is definietly easy to get in STATE category than ALL INDIA category as 85% of the seats in medical colleges are reserved for students of the particular state and only 15% of the seats are reserved for students of outside state or for those applying in ALL INDIA category, so ratio is 85 is to 15 , so definitely it is easier to get a seat through state quota than AI quota.
