see the syllabus is quite different as per university wise and you did not mention which university or college entrance test you are preparing for, now as per dujat b.a economics entrance syllabus, questions general comes from numerical aptitude which is similar to 10th standard mathematics , topics are included as profit and loss, work power, direction and distance, verbal analogy, missing numbers etc, so you may follow ncert books and rs agarwal verbal reasoning books for practice problems,
