what is the minimum percentile required to get into a good nit?i got a percentile of 97 is it good enough to get any nit?

If you belong to OBC general category then certainly 77 percentile is not enough to get into any NIT.

considering your percentile score and the number of candidates appeared for the exam your approximate rank would be 200000 and it will further change after the JEE main April session therefore at this percentile is not possible to get into NIT.

You can re appear for JEE main exam that is JEE main April and get a good rank to get a seat into NIT it is a fact that the number of seat in NIT is 30000 and assuming total 10 lac student appear for the exam then you need to have greater than 97 percentile score.
