Is 96 percentile enough to get admission in nit

96 percentile is not enough to get top NIT with core branch.
Your approximately rank is( when you caculate using : rank =(100-96)*total number of students /100)
more than 35000 and with this rank you can not get a core branch in good NIT and if you get admission in NIT you have to compromise with branch and place.
So I would suggest you to focus on your study and try to improve your marks in April attempt and score 98-100 percentile.
Otherwise it will be better to get admission in state government colleges or in good private college with core branch.

Hello welcome to careers360.
Yes absolutely there's no doubt in that but if have reservation and what group you choose may differ in your college but with a max probability you will get NIT
