You can become a guest lecturer or lecturer in private colleges after doing your B.tech. If you want to persue your career in teaching you must complete M.tech Upon the completion of this course, it is needed to clear the NET or the SLET exams. The main purpose of these exams is to make the candidates eligible for the posts of lecturers in reputed institutions in India. This can be considered as the basic eligibility for a lecturer.
