Is BOB PO a direct recruitment exam or is there any other process in between (before the recruitment)?

BOB PO is not a direct recruitment exam. BOB PO test includes 1 online objective test plus 1 English Language descriptive test in the first phase. In the second, phase, candidates have to appear in Group Discussion (GD)/Personal Interview (PI)/Psychometric Test. After qualifying in both the stages, candidates are required to take a 9 months on campus programme and on successful completion of the course, the candidates would be awarded a Post Graduate Certificate in Banking & Finance. After the successful completition of the course and meeting the other eligibility requirements, candidates are appointed in the Bank as Probationary Officer in Junior Management Grade / Scale-I.

Hey Anchal, there are two stages which need to be qualified for being recruited. Candidates are supposed to appear for a Online Test divided into five sections out of which four are objective type multiple choice questions where as one out of the five sections will be descriptive. Candidates who qualify this phase of online test will be eligible to appear for Psychometric Test/GD/Interview. Candidates who qualify in Psychometric Test/GD/Interview will be recruited in the Probationary Officer cadre of BOB.

In order to get selected for BOB PO 2018, you have to give exam ( scheduled to be held on July 28, 2018 in online mode) which will be followed by Group Discussion & Personal Interview.
The final result of BOB PO 2018 will be prepared on the basis of scores obtained by the candidates in online test (objective+descriptive), group discussion and interview.
