B.Sc biotechnology is a 3 years undergraduate degree course which involves advanced study of the cellular and bimolecular processes for development of a variety of technologies and products that contribute to improving peoples lives and health.
To be eligible for admission, a student must have completed their class 12 in Science stream
A fresher in Bsc Biotechnology graduate can get a starting average salary of INR 2.5 Lac to 8 Lacs.

If your ultimate purpose after B. Sc. is to have a well-paying job, my answer would be a big NO. Biotech still require years to evolve in India.

Finally, no career option is good or bad. Everything depends on what we expect out of it and make out of it. It is a career of future and if not today, it's surely going to get the place it deserves in India.
