Robotics is an interdisciplinary branch.It is a combination of Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science Engineering and Electrical Engineering. So you need to know the fundamentals behind it.B.tech in robotics will limit the knowledge to robotics.You can specialize in robotics in masters degree but before that you must be good at fundamentals of it and understand them.So when you become strong with fundamentals it will help you in your Masters level as you will gain vast knowledge.It is better to do your Masters in Robotics.It will provide you with many good job opportunities.
