CMAT or Common Management Admission Test is a national level MBA entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency. It is a multiple choice objective type test conducted for the admission to around 500 AICTE approved B-schools across India. Around 65,000 candidates take the test.

I strongly suggest you to check the CMAT Exam Pattern as it is the first stepping stone of preparation.

The syllabus of CMAT 2019 is segregated into sections, namely Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation, Logical Reasoning, General Awareness, and Language Comprehension. Each section will have 25 questions each and the total marks allotted are 400. You can check each and every topic covered under every section mentioned in this link.

Moving on to the preparation, there are several CMAT online videos, preparation material and resources where you can study from. These can be considered as additional resources to boost your preparation level, with books being the primary aid. For your benefit, I also suggest you to go through - All About CMAT . Refer to Arun Sharma's or Sarvesh Verma's book of Quantitative Ability, Verbal Skills, Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning. Make sure that you read newspaper daily to prepare for General awareness.

To help candidates prepare and get a feel of the test, the conducting body releases a CMAT Mock test. The test will help them gain insights on the exam pattern, structure and navigation system. It is a demo test offered to prospective test takers to the technicalities of CMAT 2019.

Rest assured, you will score well in CMAT as the difficulty level is not as high as that of other competitive exams like CAT, XAT etc. Just prepare well and stay focused. There is ample time to prepare and revise and take enough mock tests from time to time. Goodluck!

Thanks for approaching us. 'Hard exam' is a relative term! No exam is hard if you are prepared for the test. All you need to do is plan your work and work on your plan! Success would kiss your feet.

Now to talk about the CMAT exam, I must mention that it is an entrance examination taken by candidates aspiring to pursue management studies after completing their graduation. This test would be conducted by National Testing Agency for the first time; previously it was conducted by AICTE.

To judge whether the test is difficult or not you need to know the CMAT exam pattern . The test will comprise of four distinct sections, namely, Logical Reasoning, Language Comprehension, Quantitative Techniques & Data Interpretation and General Awareness. Each section will have 25 questions; with each question carrying four marks. A total of 100 questions would be asked and the maximum score will be 400 (100 x4). The CMAT 2019 will be conducted in online mode on Sunday, January 27, 2019.

CMAT is definitely not hard but has medjocre difficulties.

Easiwr than CaT, XAT, GMAT.

Slightly more difficult thanCET.

Scores above 250 is considered good.
