You can opt for diploma after 10th class as several private institutions and colleges allows the direct admission whereas the government colleges may require you to qualify a state level exam like JEECUP, POLYCET etc.

Yes, direct admission is available in many diploma courses after 10th class in India.
Most of Polytechnic colleges and institutes offer diploma in engineering, pharmacy, fashion design, hotel management, It, computer applications, and many more directly after 10th standard. Admission are usually based on marks in class 10th board exam, and in some states you need to appear for an entrance exam.
Some private colleges often give direct admission without any entrance exam. But, government Polytechnic colleges generally prefer entrance exam rank or marks for admission. It depends on the Universities some may offer diploma courses after 10th but some may not.
