Is domicile certificate is must needed for state counciling or my 10-12 mark list is enough for counseling in ap as I am local and had all my education in ap only ?

There is huge ambiguity regarding rules and regulations of domicile in every state and which is to be  provided by the students at the time of admission.

While  some states only require students to have completed their 10 and 12 to be eligible for state quota . Gujarat  also wants students to reside for minimum 10 consecutive years. While Andhra Pradesh wants  the candidates to not only complete 10 and 12 in that state but also to have resided for minimum 7 consecutive years.

Also these rules and regulations are subjected to change. Although some colleges do not ask for domicile certificate if candidate is a local resident but some college may ask for it depending on administration.

So to be on safe side, it is advisable to carry your domicile certificate so that you may not face any problem.
