If you have enough time &patience to repeat the process again you can, but remember you are challenging yourself to achieve it by going back 365 days, hope you take councelling from parents&your well wishers.

This isn't about dropping, it just falls within yourself. If your inner self knows that you can get highest mark In JEE, so you can prepare for 1 year. But don't take decisions by yourself, ask suggestions to your parents, they might give you the best answers. If you want to take education from top IIT's then you can prepare for it.
