Yes , there is a benefit of EWS criteria in JEE Aspirants.

The EWS bill supports by increasing employment opportunities and benefits by providing 10 % reservation for an appointment in educational institutions . Further, the reservation also applies to civil posts and civil services, if the individual receives income below the stipulated threshold.

Candidates belonging to SC, ST, OBC-NCL and EWS can avail a benefit of 15%, 7.5%, 27% and 10% respectively based on JEE Main Reservation . Also, candidates with 40% or more disability applying for JEE Main 2022 have a seat reservation benefit of 5% in each of the above-mentioned categories.

Your questions is quite unclear, so can you please elaborate your question a bit more, like what you want to ask about EWS criteria for JEE-Main 2022.

As we know that EWS is a reservation category and therefore the 10% seats in each institutions (except some) have been fixed for EWS candidates only therefore the cut-offs are also low for reservation candidates as compared to that of General/Unreserved category candidates.
