Yes, Rajkiya Govind Ballabh Pant Polytechnic Lucknow is a government institute. Rajkiya Govind Ballabh Pant Polytechnic Lucknow was established by the Uttar Pradesh Social Welfare Department in the year 1967. To bring the dreams of Babasaheb Bhimrao Ambedkar to reality post-independence, RGBP Polytechnic Mohan Road Lucknow was established by the Government in the sixties with the vision and aim to provide quality Technical Education to SC and ST students. The aim was to make them self-dependent and to ensure their equal participation in the technical domain.
