You did not require to carry caste certi. With you in neet exam , it is required for admission process.

The exact answer is NO … you need not carry any caste certificate (any category) for CAT exam. But in later process,it is necessary.
It was given that students should carry
1.admit card,
2. original ID proof which was mentioned in the admit card and
3. SC/ ST certificate was mentioned (if applicable)
