Is it compulsory to graduate from science stream to apply for CDS?

No, it is not compulsory to be graduate from Science stream to apply for CDS. The re are different eligibility criteria for different courses. Candidates must have degree of a recognised University or equivalent for Indian Military Academy, Officers Training Academy (men and women), degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering for Air Force Academy and degree in Engineering from a recognised University/Institution for Indian Naval Academy. It depends upon for which course you want to apply for. For instance, if you want to go for Indian Military Academy (IMA), then, a degree in any discipline from a recogized univerisity is needed and in case of Air Force Academy (AFA), Degree of a recognised University (with Physics and Mathematics at 10+2 level) or Bachelor of Engineering is needed.
