Coming to your question, Yes it is very much mandatory to deposit 88000 DD for a hostel seat on the day of counselling of SIT or any other college/university on two conditions:-
- if at all you get selected in that particular university/college in the counselling rounds
- and if you want to opt for the hostel facility in the same
