Admission in bits is not related with JEE MAINS. One should have to clear BITSAT for the admission in bits.

The admission in BITS is based on BITSAT not on jee mains,the two exams are entirely unrelated,and have no dependence whatsoever.

No, its not necessary. U need to appear in BITSAT to get admission in BIT.
