Hii
To get barch seat in any NIT you need to clear jee main paper 2. Nit does not accept NATA score to take admission. And to get IIT for barch you need clear AAT.
And get btech seat you need to write jee main paper 1.
So conclusion is that for btech seat for NIT you have to score good in jee main paper1. And barch seat you need good rank in jee main paper 2.
