Jobs after MBA is a tricky situation. Most of the good bschools offer good positions in companies and it depends on you how you choose your job. The various parameters that you can use to decide upon the job is - compensation(salary), field or role offered, brand value of the company, location.
Now in all fair means, it is possible to get a job in your home city. But I would suggest you to look beyond location because putting a constraint on your location limits your options of fields and companies that the bschool could offer you. You might not get the job you worked hard for. But if you have responsibilities at home, then you will have to make the compromise. If getting a job is the priority, it is possible for you to get the job in your home city. If you are very lucky, you might even get the profile you want. It depends on the Bschool that you join.
