Is it true that a General/OBC student can appear neet 9 times while a student of SC/ST can appear 14 times ?

Hello Wazed, there are various news and rumors about the attempts like 9,14 etc.. But i would like to inform that there is no such communication from any reliable source LIKE CBSE, Health ministry, MCI/NMC
So till date the rule stand as
Number of attempt - 3
Counting of Attempts - from 2017 onward, means any attempt prior to 2016 will not be counted in 3 attempts, if student appeared in NEET UG 2017, that will be considered as first attempt....
Hopefully it helps

Hello wazed
Thanxx for the query. Answer to your question is false i.e. NEET doesn't provide reappearance chances on caste basis. A student can apply maximum of three times only no matter what caste he belongs to. Hope your query was solved.

The total number of times a student can attempt NEET is thrice irrespective of his caste quota.
That's three chances you have at clearing the exam.
The first chance is counted from NEET 2017 onwards.
