Hubballi's KLE Institute of Technology (KLEIT), which is the only engineering college in north Karnataka affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University, has been given a ranking by the National Institutional Ranking Framework (NIRF) in the range of 250 to 300 for all-India engineering colleges.

In the twelve years since its establishment, KLEIT has achieved great placements and met the criteria for NIRF's national ranking in areas like teaching, learning, resources, research, professional practice, graduation outcomes, outreach, and inclusivity.

About 65% of the kids in our class were placed, while some others will not be put until the following semester. Companies like Infosys, TCS, Wipro L&T, Cognizant, and SLK have come to the campus to interview candidates. Cognizant offers the largest compensation package, which is equivalent to around 6 LPA. SLK provided the lowest compensation package, which was around 3.2 LPA. The majority of students—around 85%—got internships at Shantala Electricals, the railroads, etc. There is an organisation called Taranag, and it has a technical coordinator, a project coordinator, etc.

There are large classrooms with enough ventilation, lighting, and presentation-ready equipment. Due to its location on the outskirts, the hostel's atmosphere is ideal for studying. The hostel is equipped with the necessary medical supplies. There will always be a car outside in case of an emergency. The cuisine is of excellent quality and quantity and contains the right nutrients and fruits. Sports like basketball, volley, etc. are played every semester. Overall, all necessary amenities are accessible.

There are respectable faculty members who are always willing to assist the students. They don't only teach the curriculum; they also provide us with supplementary details about current technology and real-world situations, which are crucial to know. Every semester, we go on an industrial excursion to learn about topics firsthand.

It is a good college in terms of placement,infrastructure and faculty.
