Is life of a pcs officer at risk due to politician pressures and all and are they frequently transfered from time to time during their job tenure??

No for most time , there is no such problems for PCS officer . They are only portrayed in movies . Such problems are only faced by people whose duty is at areas where political pressure is very high . Though transfer happens but there are not frequent transfer . So you should not worry much .
