Hello Divya,
As much as I know, MCI Screening exam is compulsory for Indian students with a medical degree from a college abroad. It is also known as the FMGE (Foreign Medical Graduate Exam) is an objective exam and held twice a year. it is equivalent to an MBBS degree in India and students studying abroad must appear for and qualify this exam if they want to practice in India.
Hope you found the answer satisfactory.

Actually name of mci screening test has been changed to NEXT and it is compulsory to clear this test for both students studying Medicine in India and Abroad.
