Is Narasaraopeta engineering college will become university?

HELLO,
As of now, Narasaraopeta Engineering College (NEC) is not a university. It is a private college that is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Kakinada (JNTUK).
Many engineering colleges in Andhra Pradesh are affiliated with JNTUK, and while some have become universities, NEC has not. For example, University College of Engineering in Kakinada, which is part of JNTUK, has become a university.
Currently, NEC continues to function as it is, offering undergraduate and postgraduate courses in engineering and management. There are no official plans for the college to become a university in the near future.
