As per the latest notification, candidates applying for undergraduate (UG) courses in Ayurveda, Yoga and Naturopathy, Unani, Siddha and Homoeopathy (AYUSH) will be required to appear for NEET 2019 which is also applicable to NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF AYURVEDA (NIA) and there is no separate entrance exam by NIA.

National Institute of Ayurveda is a public university that is affiliated with Dr. Sarvepalli Radhakrishnan Rajasthan Ayurveda University, Jodhpur. The College offers courses like BAMS, MD, MS, Ph.D. (Ayurveda Varidhi), Diploma in Ayurveda Nursing and Pharmacy and Certificate course in Panchakarma.
For Admission to BAMS in the University, the candidate is required to fulfill some eligibility criterias :
- Candidate must have passed 12th examinations with Physics, Chemistry and Biology as compulsory subjects.
- Candidate must have scored minimum 50% marks in qualifying examination.
- Admission is based on performance (score) in the DSRRAU Entrance Test 2019.
