Is ncert biology is enough to get good marks in NEET i am so confused

Hi Kunal!
For NEET, you must study the NCERT prescribed textbooks because they will build a good foundation for the basics, thus you can enhance your conceptual understanding. In biology, every word is important as 80-85% of the questions are quite direct. Also refer to the pictures in the textbook, the rest of the questions are usually asked from the images.
If you want to practice questions, you can use Pradeep's Objective Textbook. Also, don't forget to continuously revise the portion you have learnt, to retain it better.

NEET books are enough just to study the theory. but you definitely need some practice with MCQs get some MCQs book and solve them daily without fail. Once you start solving them you will come to know about your weakness so you can improve on that.

For biology in NEET
You require only two things.

Persistent revision!!!
Read at least 5-10 times if you want a hand over the subject.

If you go through the question papers of the last 5 years, you will be able to figure out that majority of questions have been asked from the NCERT textbooks only when it comes to preparing for NEET.
Make NCERT your Bible for preparation of biology and read it in between the lines (Yes! It is that important), concentrate on the diagrams that are given in these textbooks. You will understand why I'm stressing on diagrams after you take a look at the previous years question papers. Many questions in biology will be diagram based and these are picked up AS SUCH from NCERT textbooks.
Once you've finished reading NCERT textbooks thoroughly, you can consider going through some reference textbooks for biology PROVIDED you have that amount of time.
Also, try attempting the questions that have been asked previously to assess yourself and make an estimate of the amount of content to you need to know to perform well.

Yes kunal! That means, be thorough with the contents given in the book line by line, because a seemingly trivial piece of information can be asked as a question sometimes.
Which is why I've asked you to go through the previous years papers kunal. You'll be able to figure out yourself that around 60-70% percent of the questions have been asked from NCERT, sometimes more than that. There are variations every year.

Don't be confused ...ncert biology is like compulsory book u need to refer, because it has the basics of every topic. As in any sport unless you need to enter the field and have the field practice rather than only making the game plans...same here u need to solve as much as mcqs to success.
My advise to u is refer ncert at ur fingertips by mtg publications, as it has helped me a lot. And again if u get stuck somewhere again u have ur ncert biology to refer.

Hii Kunal..I would like to inform you that for theory purpose NCERT is enough for Biology. And for practising the questions go through previous years papers and mcq based books. And you will learn new concepts from them too.
