Hi,
From the academic year 2018-19, admission to undergraduate courses in AYUSH colleges and veterinary and animal science courses will be based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET) scores.
In a letter dated February 21, Franklin L. Khobung, Director, Ministry of AYUSH, informed the State and Union Territory governments that the NEET score would be mandatory for admission to these courses. The Veterinary Council of India (VCI) announced that admission to the 15% seats under the all-India quota to veterinary colleges (except Jammu and Kashmir) would be done based on NEET scores. In a notification on Thursday, R.G. Bambal, additional in-charge secretary of the VCI, asked aspirants of BVSc and AH courses to write NEET.
