No, for optometry you need not give or qualify NEET.
Students who wish to do degree or diploma course in Ophthalmic technology should clear 10+2 or equivalent examination, with a minimum of 50% marks in biology, chemistry and physics. To practice as a optometrist it is essential to have a Bachelor's degree in Optometry.
