Yes, one year is a good time to crack the JEE exam. Once you have thoroughly completed the Class XI and Class XII syllabus from NCERT books, then you can proceed towards solving the past years question papers as well as take the mock tests. You will have to study from some other important books of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. Once you are thorough with the syllabus, have a good understanding of the concepts and its application, you will be able to identify your weak and strong areas, then you can join a coaching institute. The coaching institutes help you in polishing your preparation skills and they regularly conduct mock tests. At the same time they provide you with sample papers. There is a saying that "practise makes the man perfect." The more you solve these question papers and write the mock tests, the better it will be for you.
