Hi, I m pranathi
Students who are the citizens of India are eligible for writing GATE examination. Other than India, students from United Arab Emirates(UAE), Ethiopia, Singapore, Nepal, Srilanka and Bangladesh are also eligible for writing the GATE examination.
Students who are the citizens of above mentioned foreign countries can write their exams in their respective countries. As the government is allotting centres in foreign countries, so that people find it easy to attend their exam. The priority can be given to the center nearest to you.Over 660 centers are alloted in total the above mentioned countries.
People of any age are eligible for applying GATE examination. But they should be a graduate in bachelor of Technology /architecture.
The fee for students is US$10 for Indian female, SC, ST,and physically challenged students. For other Indian citizens it is US$21. The students of others nations have to pay US$50.
All the best!
