I hope you are doing fine, Yes, the scope for the polytechnic diploma holders is good in India. Candidates after completion of diploma can work in government and private companies. They can also study BE / BTech after completion of a three year diploma. Candidates after completion of a three year diploma are admitted to the second year of the BE or BTech course through lateral entry mode. There are job opportunities for the diploma holders in Indian Railways, State Electricity Board/Department, BHEL, NTPC etc.
