You can choose any branch among these two according to your interest both have good future in terms of jobs and placements. Computer Science course is mainly for innovating things which is been studied and to come up with new ideas. Information Technology is more of using the technology rather than creating new things.
If we compare the scope between these two branches then CSE has more scope. Many companies prefer CSE students over IT. It i smost preferable branch among students.
