Is the aeronautical engineering is best for these coming days...... And also for future
Dear Neeraj, aerospace engineering is a combination of two intertwined sciences : Aeronautical engineering & Astraunautical engineering.
Aeronautical engineering is the subject dealing with aerial machines and their complete functioning in various domains such as structures, aerodynamics, propulsion and avionics.
In our country, we have institutes mostly offering Aeronautical engineering.
Now coming to the scope of Aeronautical engineering. I won't bluff but its pretty meagre . Its tough to secure a job post your Bachelor's. Of course there are few government companies such as DRDO, HAL & NAL; but most of them require recommendations to get in or may have their own entrance exams especially in the case of IIST to later on join ISRO.
Many students lack in jobs just after graduation and if your college in not one of the reputed IIT or NIT then you have to face much more competition.
So, in short the scope of Aeronautical engineering in India is not that great. But ofcourse, masters degree from IIT or NIT would definitely help.
Talking about Aeronautical engineering from abroad. The scope is great there. The average salary is also more than that is provided in India.
Finally, persue thus field for the interest of aerial machines, flight, aviation, sky and aeroplanes.
All the best :)
Feel free to ask for any query.
Hello Neeraj.
Hope you are doing good. This branch I'd the specialized branch in aviation industry. The area involves studying, designing, construction and science of the airplanes and other aircraft's. One should be excellent in mathematics for this branch.
The core subjects under this branch includes
- Aircraft performance and aircraft structures.
- Material sciences.
- Propulsion.
- Automatic control and guidance.
- Fluid dynamics.
- The top colleges are:
- IIT Bombay
- IIT kanpur
- IIT kharagpur
The scope for this is brilliant. It's one of the most technologically advanced branch of engineering.
