Is the mechanical engineering stream is eligible to write income tax depratment exam?

Hii Siva,

A candidate with graduation in any discipline from a recognized University are eligible to write income tax officer exam.

The upper age limit is 27 yrs for general category

Age relaxation for below categories:

SC/ST candidate:5 yrs

Obc candidate: 3 yrs

Pwd candidate:10 yrs
