The NERIST Entrance Examination (NEE) is led by North Eastern Regional Institute of Science And Technology (NERIST) for admissions to different B.Tech programs, presented by NERIST. A national-level exam, JEE Main is attempted by candidates from across the country and is considered among the toghest in the country, may be second only to JEE Advanced. On the other hand the NERIST exam is attempte by comparatively fewer number of candidates; also the question paper is not generally as tough as JEE Main.

However, whether you plan to appear in NERIST exam or JEE Main exam, preparation is key. For JEE Main, you need to study some additional books apart from your board syllabus, as questions are more advanced. Begin with NCERT books, as they are best for building concepts.
