The National Medical Commission (NMC) has proposed the implementation of Common exit exam NEXT for all MBBS students in order to maintain the standard of quality of health services. Only the candidates qualifying the exam will be allowed to pursue higher education in the medical field. They are planning to implement this with in a period of three years.
